Fu*k, I like the Lana Del Rey album

Evil reviews I’m reading on the web sound like the result of some “I wanted something so impossibly massive, I can’t stand this is just a good record, better than too many around”.

As for the criticism on her lyrics - please, have you never ever read Madonna’s lyrics anyway??

I like Lana Del Rey’s “Born to Die” because it’s a good pop album and I don’t give a sh*t if the persona is built or not. What bloody popstar isn’t anyway? And when exactely is the right time for a popstar to become an acceptable fake of a real person?

Again, think Madonna, Beyoncé, Britney, Lady G., Cher and so on, tell me you never felt embarassed at some lyrics and costumes.
